Custom Black Series Finn in First Order Stormtrooper Armor

My wife and I made this custom Star Wars The Black Series Six Inch Scale Finn in First Order Stormtrooper armor.

I changed the heads out this of a regular First Order Stormtrooper and Finn (Jakku) afternoon and @leavethattome_studioart added the battle damage.

Black Series Six Inch Action Figures

I decided to open several Star Wars Black Series Six Inch Action Figures this week in preparation for the Force Awakens.

The Black Series has become my favorite line of Star Wars action figures.  The figures that I decided to opened were all from the first wave of the The Force Awakens link of the Black Series.

Currently, most of the first wave of The Force Awakens are available for a good price on Amazon.

New Background for Action Figure Photos

This evening, I used some of the graphics available for download from dioramaworkshop.com, to make backgrounds to take photos of my 3.75" and 6" Star Wars action figures.  I posted these three photos on Twitter and Instagram earlier.

From the Force Awakens 3.75" line, Captain Phasma in front of some Imperial panels

I always posted two photos from the Star Wars The Black Series.  Below are the Imperial Stormtrooper, and Rey (Jakku) and BB-8 from the Force Awakens line.

Black Series Darth Vader Emporer's Wrath

I received my Star Wars The Black Series Darth Vader Emperor's Wrath Walgreens exclusive action figure today, in the mail.

I have not had any luck attempting to find this item locally, So, I ordered this figure on Tuesday, when Walgreens restocked on their website.   They shipped it very quickly.  This Black Series figure was packaged well, and the figure arrived in great condition.

It was nice to get this directly from Walgreens.  I always attempt to get my figures at retail or on sale if possible.  I have only bought a couple of these in the secondary market on eBay, etc.

Hot Wheels Star Wars Vechiles Checklist

Mattel finally started producing Star Wars merchandise last year, with the introduction of the Hot Wheels line of character cars, and soon after, they introduced a series featuring iconic Star Wars vehicles.

I have complied a list of these starships or vehicles below.  I made this a checklist, so I will be sure to know which Hot Wheels Star Wars vehicles I need to complete my collection.  I thought that it might also be useful for others, so I posted it here.  I also included links to each of these vehicles on Amazon.  This list was originally complied on 12/11/15.

Entertainment Earth Exclusive Black Series Four Pack

I received my Entertainment Earth Exclusive Black Series Four Pack today. This is another nice addition to the Black Series Collection.  The Black Series has become my favorite line of Star Wars action figures, and I didn't want to miss these.  As pictured above, the set includes Sandtrooper Sergeant (Black Series Debut), Crimson Stormtrooper (Character Action Figure Debut), Lieutenant Oxixo (Black Series Debut), and R2-Q5 (Black Series Debut).

The only thing that stands out to me apart from the four figures themselves is the packaging seems to be a different quality from the other Black Series figures. The cardboard looks to have a more matte finish, and it is definitely a thicker stock of cardboard and there are noticeable ridges in the material.

I think this set should have been price lower than the Amazon exclusive Stormtrooper Four Pack which was sold by Amazon for $79.99.  The Amazon set was a more reasonable price point, and their set had a more interesting four pack packaging.  I was able to find this set on Amazon from a 3rd party seller cheaper than buying it directly from Entertainment Earth.
